2011 - 2012 Wrestling Season is coming!

The 2011 - 2012 wrestling season is around the corner.
The MRH Wrestling Club will begin registration and practice the week of
Monday November 7th.
Registration for all wrestlers is on Monday November 7th from
6:00-7:30; however, a wrestler can enroll at any time if space is
available.
Wrestling FUNdamentals: K- 3rd grade:
Practice will be held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00- 7:00 at
the High School Wrestling Room.
In Wrestling FUNdamentals we teach our Kindergarten
through 3rd grade athletes the very basics of wrestling.
The goal is to get the kids used to being on the mat and having
fun while teaching them the basic skills of the sport often through the
creation of very basic wrestling games that require only basic skills
and very simple rules.
Cost: $50 (Limit 10
wrestlers)
Blue Challenge 4th-6th grade:
Practice will be held on Monday and Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:30.
The Blue Challenge Program builds upon the experience
provided in Wrestling Fundamentals by teaching folkstyle wrestling. The
challenge program is an evaluation tool for accessing the acquisition of
fundamental wrestling skills, to determine the level of muscular
strength, as well as the kinesthetic awareness and knowledge of the
wrestlers. It is also the
objective of the Blue Challenge to provide a high level of motivation
through a system of extrinsic rewards.
Cost: $85 (Limit 15 wrestlers)
Middle School Wrestling Club:
Practices will be on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:20-4:05.
The Middle School Wrestling Club teaches folkstyle wrestling and
the rules used by the Missouri State High School Association in hosting
their competitions. The
teaching focuses on preparing the wrestlers to become Blue Devil
Wrestlers.
Cost is $85 (Limit 15 wrestlers)
All athletes will need a copy of your Birth Certificate.
