As a parent of a child in MRH Youth Sports, you are expected:
1.
To remember that children are participating in MRH Youth Sports to have fun, and that the games are for the children, not the adults.
2.
To learn the rules of the game and the policies of the league.
3.
To be a positive role model for the kids and to encourage sportsmanship by showing respect to players, coaches, and officials.
4.
To offer only positive, constructive feedback to the children, and only when appropriate.
Specifically, to refrain from coaching your child(ren) or other players during games or practices unless invited by the coaches.
5.
To demand that your child(ren) treat other players, coaches, and officials with respect.
6.
To teach your child that their teammates have a right to expect them to give their best effort, and that no teammate has a right to expect anything more.
7.
To demand a sports environment for your child(ren) that is free of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.
8.
To be responsible for guests you bring to MRH Youth Sports events, and to ensure that those guests abide by these expectations.
